Tick Talks and Community Education
Ticna is collaborating with Sherria Powell from Tick Talk Travelling, who has been travelling all over Australia in her distinctive caravan and Ute delivering Ticna brochures and information to tourist information centres, chemists, doctors and local community centres for a number of years. When she travels to various destinations, Sherria will often put on a short Tick Talk to visitors in the local caravan park.

As Ticna grows we hope to be able to deliver more free talks to local community groups such as Probus, Lions, Apex, Rotary and outdoor walking, trekking, camping and caravan and other sporting groups as well.

We can provide brochures or free information for your local group magazines, email correspondence or community notice boards to help educate about ticks and other vectors to more in your group or area. Stay in contact or ask us a question about this by providing your email address here

When money allows, we would like to develop video and PowerPoint educational programs you can download and use to educate others as well.
