About Ticna Inc

The Tick-borne Illness Community Network Australia Inc. (TICNA), was established in 2017 in Melbourne, Victoria, and became incorporated on 24th January 2018. The TICNA committee comprises a mix of patients and healthy family and friends of some patients who suffer from tick-borne illnesses such as Rickettsia, Bartonella, Babesia, overseas acquired Lyme and an as yet unknown Borrelia Lyme-like illness, to name a few.

Ticna also collaborates with patient groups from Q Fever, Ross River Fever and also Pandis research who haveĀ helped obtain the most up to date information for this website.

Ticna Inc primary aim is to educate the broader community about ticks and other vectors that possibly could transmit infections to the public.
